Approach

Ironwood Design Group drew inspiration from European court-style entries to design the front drive and arrival court, ensuring a smooth flow for residents and visitors. The custom monument sign, crafted from natural Texas limestone, harmonizes with the building’s limestone and cobblestone front drive, creating a warm and welcoming entrance.

A historic tree, preserved with prescribed nutrients and extra care during construction, stands as the gem of the entryway. Surrounded by previous pavers that allow moisture and air to reach its roots, this majestic tree offers shade and aesthetic appeal, embodying Ironwood’s commitment to environmental stewardship.

The elevated amenity deck at Graydon is not just a feature, but a unique selling point. It’s designed to be an all-encompassing retreat, nestled among the trees and seamlessly integrated into Atlanta’s historic tree canopy, known as “the city in a forest.” This area provides a green oasis in the busy city, offering a tranquil setting for residents to enjoy time alone or together. This unique feature sets Graydon apart and makes it an attractive choice for potential residents.

The elevated plaza, surrounded by lush foliage, includes a lap pool, yoga lawn, summer kitchen, and grill area. The large lap pool, with its zero-edge design, heated spa, and swim lanes, accommodates the clean lines of the Graydon Buckhead building. Pots and planters frame the pool, enhancing its visual appeal with their reflection in the blue waters, especially at night.

The viewing garden, highlighted with low succulents and pollinator-friendly perennials, welcomes butterflies and bumblebees strategically placed away from high-traffic areas to provide an ideal viewing spot. The summer kitchen and grill area are perfect for cookouts, while the yoga lawn offers a peaceful space for early morning exercises. Residents can also enjoy the gas fire pit during colder weather or relax under cabanas by the pool on sunny days.
