Description

Ironwood Design Group is a landscape architecture and master planning practice with offices in Atlanta and Nashville, working on projects across the country. Our team focuses on creating thoughtful, well-crafted environments that balance design, experience, and long-term performance.

Landscape architecture is both an art and a science—an exterior realization of a concept. We apply timeless design principles to every project, grounded in four core ideas: form, experience, visualization, and movement. Our work spans mixed-use, multifamily, hospitality, and public realm environments, with an emphasis on placemaking and the integration of landscape with architecture and infrastructure.

We are engaged from early concept through construction, working closely with clients and consultants to ensure projects are both compelling in design and successful in execution.

We operate as a single studio, where teams work closely together and support one another across projects. We value ownership, initiative, and a shared responsibility for delivering high-quality work.

Project Managers at Ironwood Design Group lead complex projects from kickoff through completion, ensuring that design excellence, client service, and project profitability are consistently achieved. PMs serve as the primary point of contact for clients and are accountable for project execution, including planning, documentation, financial performance, and team coordination.

This role is suited for professionals with experience delivering commercial, mixed-use, and master-planned developments, including urban living environments and on-structure landscapes. Project Managers guide design direction, manage multi-disciplinary coordination, and ensure constructable, high-performing environments aligned with client goals and Ironwood’s standards.

PMs model Ironwood’s culture, mentor junior staff, and contribute to a collaborative studio environment. They are expected to maintain billable utilization and may actively contribute to project design, particularly during master planning and concept phases. PMs report to the Studio Director and escalate to Principals as needed.
