Icon Midtown stands as a beacon of urban sophistication in Atlanta, Georgia. With an ambitious goal to enhance the city’s skyline, the project involved designing both the 11th-floor amenity space and the 39th-floor rooftop cigar bar. These meticulously crafted spaces exude elegance and redefine urban living, making a significant mark on Midtown Atlanta’s architectural landscape.

Approach

Ironwood Design Group’s approach to Icon Midtown focused on creating a cohesive and luxurious experience that seamlessly blends interior and exterior elements. Inspired by the opulence of Miami’s beaches, the design incorporates high-end finishes to elevate the contemporary luxury of the space.

On the 11th floor, Ironwood envisioned a spacious amenity area that epitomizes elegance just steps away from residents’ homes. This resort-style pool area, partially sheltered by the building, features a water lounge integrated into the architecture, providing a serene retreat for residents. Adjacent to the pool, a spa extends from the building, constructed entirely of clear plexiglass, offering breathtaking views of 14th Street. The design’s thematic harmony ensures a seamless transition between indoor luxury and outdoor sophistication, enhancing the building’s prestigious status.

The 39th-floor rooftop cigar bar adds another layer of refinement, with panoramic views of the city serving as a stunning backdrop. This space combines modern design with classic elegance, providing a unique, high-end experience for residents and guests alike.
