The Vivian Apartments is a ground-up project introducing a 325-unit apartment complex nestled in the historic Capitol View neighborhood, located on the Westside BeltLine. This development captures the essence of the creative culture prevalent in Atlanta’s Westside, situated just steps from Aluma Urban Farm and near Adair Park and the Annie E. Casey Foundation site at Pittsburgh Yards. The Vivian offers a living destination rich with opportunities for creativity, connection, and an artful lifestyle, providing residents with amenities that support a balanced, vibrant life.

Approach

Ironwood Design Group’s approach to The Vivian centered on delivering modern amenities that meet and exceed the expectations of revitalizing the Capitol View neighborhood. The design focuses on creating unique connection points between the surrounding neighborhood, residential buildings, main amenities, and the BeltLine, fostering a sense of community and accessibility.

The main amenity area overlooks the BeltLine and features a pool, cabanas, a summer kitchen, and a coffee shop patio with an overlook terrace. These spaces are designed to encourage relaxation and social interaction, providing residents with a serene environment to unwind after a busy day. A highlight of the design is the seamless integration of connection points, creating a cohesive and accessible community.

The private dog park offers a dedicated space for residents and their pets, enhancing the community’s appeal to pet owners. The proximity to the BeltLine allows for easy access to recreational activities such as running and cycling, further supporting an active lifestyle.
